M.D.L. MPT Series Metallized Polypropylene Film Capacitor (Non-Inductive)
Its non-inductive winding construction and OFC copper leads provide low loss, good frequency characteristics and stable capacitance. The series is suitable for general loudspeaker crossovers, car audio systems, audio filtering and a wide range of electronic equipment.
【Special Note】: We use OFC oxygen-free copper leads. Low-end MPT capacitors on the market typically use aluminum or iron leads. All M.D.L. capacitors sold by our company use OFC oxygen-free copper leads. You can distinguish genuine products from counterfeit ones by scratching off the plating on the leads or using a magnet.
The MPT Series is the standard practical range within the M.D.L. metallized polypropylene film capacitor product line. It is designed for general audio products, electronic equipment and volume-production applications.
Metallized polypropylene film and non-inductive winding help minimize parasitic inductance and reduce energy loss during signal transmission. Stable capacitance and good insulation performance make the series suitable for crossover, filtering, coupling and general signal-processing circuits.
The MPT Series has a dissipation factor of less than 0.1% at 1kHz and a working voltage range of 100VDC to 630VDC. Compared with the higher-performance XPP Series, the MPT Series focuses on broad specification coverage, versatile applications, consistent mass production and cost efficiency.
